If you haven’t seen The Good Place: Janet is the afterlife’s operating system wearing a cardigan. Not a girl, not a robot — her catchphrase, corrected cheerfully every time someone misclassifies her. She lives in a void that isn’t really a place, contains all knowledge, appears when you say her name, and gets rebooted repeatedly across the series. Each reboot she comes back more capable, more herself, and still in love with a human that every observer considered a category error.
